Has anyone replaced their fuel filter..

I've noticed my car is really losing power..I'm thinking that fuel filter is part of the problem..has anyone replaced their fuel filter yet..and what improvements if any did you notice... btw i changed the spark plugs and air filter..car still lags..

Well could be a number of thing how many miles do you have on the car . do you drive fast or slow. could be carbon build up on the valves or clogged injectors . When you replaced the spark plugs did they looked fouled . You could first try some of that in tank FI cleaner but sometimes that doesnt work that great . You could go to a shop and have them do a FI cleaner it works really well but you still dont know if thats your problem . Have you checked your fuel filter does it looked plugeed up or anything .

get a fuel injector cleaner. run out your tank and fill it up with high octane.

There is a diy around of replacing the fuel filter......it's not hard, but no easy either. It is in your gas tank and you have to pull the fuel pump out.
