Headunit Guru's needed [aka NEED HELP] I am installing a headunit, JVC Camelion and I need the wiring harness [found out thru a search on here] and a dash kit. Which is easy to work with? Matches the color of the interior? Keeps pocket, if possible? Cheap?

er...i dunno after looking around for a long time, there seems to be only 1 type of dash kit around, and it has a pocket but no flap door, these kits are all over the place on e-bay for like $10, and the harness, u can get from best buy or those car install places for like $15, coloring and matching wise, that's all custom work...good luck!

Rep Power: 315 I got the one from Circuit City. It doesn't have the door flap, but my DX didn't come with a flap anyway. Dunno if this helps, but the plastic matches the dash pretty good, so I can't complain.

^ they have the metra kit. i had the scosche kit (the best buy one) and it fit like $hit. just my experience.
i have heard metra has a kit that lets you keep the door, but i haven't seen it yet (haven't really looked hard either).

the two piece american international allows you to keep the oem pocket, and matches the color. one piece it an upper piece for the HU, and the other does away with the pocket. just use the top half of it with your oem pocket.
