hey guys, here's the scoop...i have the alpine type-R 12" with alpine's enclosure, and one alpine f340, and a m500, and I came to ask if you guys got suggestions as to what kind of custom trunk i should go with.

i want to end up with lots of trunk space left, show or no show i don't really care about, its more convenience purposes, so if anyone's got pics n stuff, please post some so i can get an idea of what i should try to build.

at first, i was just thinkin of the shoving the box in the middle, then build 2 frames on each side of it and make them flush with the wheel well bulge, then mount the 2 amps one on each side, but then i saw all those false floor designs, and i started to change my mind... all help appreaciated guys..

see, you got the 2 woofer set up, and that's a custom enclosure. mine came with alpine's own box already so i can't or dont want to take it apart... your setup is awesome, but i can't do that with the components I have, not w.o breaking the enclosure open. Good pic though, i think i got one idea where i can implement your falsefloor setup with a beauty-board setup.

any other ideas peeps?

Im not sure what type of enclosure that yours comes with but here is how i mounted my amps. You'll notice the sub enclosure aint done yet

No seat closing problems. Thats simply a 1"x16"x30+" board covered w/ carpet. I fastened it at an angle in the trunk. Theres about a 4" space between the seat and the board.

Chocobo, just because you have the alpine box doesnt mean you have to use it!

Make a new one with a design however you like.

i know wut u mean man...but i like the design alpine did, i mean they didn't just put a bunch of pieces of wood together, drill holes, and call it a vented box...i'm sure they R&D'ed their design and spent money to get the most out of the woofer they put in there, and from my experience, this single 12" blows away any other woofer i've heard up to date (which isn't that many so many i shouldn't be talking ^_^)

I think i'll "jack" joe's design, and just rest the box in the back on the trunk the way it is now ^_^...cheap and simple! (I hope)

thnx alot for all your imput guys...those are some HOT setups out there..but i'm going for function and space conservation, so no fancy show stuff for me! >_<
