Alarm, back up battery etc
I am going to install a alarm on my older 1993 civic hatch, and I was wondering, does it matter what alarm I get? I am not really looking for extra features etc, just looking for a alarm with keyless entry and thats basically it.
Whats your opinion on this? should I just shell out money for a solid alarm? or does it not really matter?
and I also want to install a back up battery and back up sirens just incase someone cuts the main battery, I really want to install this on my older hatch because that year civic (5thgen) are mostly stolen around my area
thanks any imput would be nice

I good quality alarm will last longer and be less likely to give false alarms. I have a viper 600 with backup batt and second siren in case the first one gets disabled.
