Sway Bar vs. Tie Bar

Sway Bar vs. Tie Bar

I was just wanting to know if there is a benefit to having a sway bar and a tie bar? I just don't want to purchase 2 things if one will suffice.

they do two different jobs:

Tie bar is a chassis reinforcement (helps reduce flex in the chassis)
a Sway bar AKA anti-roll bar is part of your suspension like your spirings, and do 2 main jobs. 1. Help reduce body roll and 2. they adjust the handling balance of the car (Roll couple Distribution)

so, what do you want to do with your car?
