my setup

new system going in my new car. Custom fiberglass box, 2 diamond cm3 12's,rocksford power 1000 bd and 550x linked together, soon to be focal 6.5s and hopefully a custom molded in dash tv

I have pics of the box(just started to lay down the first layers of glass),and subs, amps
I can email them to someone that can post them up here-might need to be resized

cood call on the recessed look, so few people remember to do that, and its such an easy way to improve the looks of the box 100 fold!

I almost forgot, check it out, and this is important:



look at the bottom edge. can you see the angle to it? how you can see the .75" mdf i used to form the bottom contour? that sucks.

learn from my mistakes, dont be an idiot like me; if you have this edge on your box, grind or sand it off, or fill it so its a straight surface. otherwise you will have a gay looking edge like my trunkpanel here. looks like the lower edge of your box, as is so far, has got it....

yea i see what you mean but its going to be behind the seats so if you were to fold down the seats you would see the subs like in the second pic but there is gonna be a trim around it. thanks for the compliments. 4 more layers of glass then duraglassing then sand like a mother f****er then prime, paint. Its gonna be painted the aem intake blue(eletric blue?) and the trim will be white like the car

havent even started sanding thats just the first layer of glass. i ran out of brushess. i started making the box today so for a days work its not bad i have about 2-3 more days than itll be ready for paint

hah.. last time i ran out of brushes it was like 2 am, so i ran out t walmart and bought every brush they had. i walked out with a huge bag full of brushes, but, im runnin out again.
