will i still rub

right now my rim has an 35mm offset and its a 15x6.5 inch wide and on 205/55/15 and the wheel sticks out a little more than normal i want to lower my car a little more not slammed but top off tire equal with bottom of the fender (with my b+g's) im affraid i will rub the tire into the lip when i have passengers if i buy the maxxim-oxygene wheels witch have a 42mm offset will i still rub the lip?

If the Maxxim wheels have a 7" to 7.5" width then you wont have a problem. What diameter wheel will they be? If you are getting 17" I would get a 205/45-17 tire, if you get a 215/45-17 it may rub if you have passengers in the car due to the extra width. If its 18" go for a 205/40-18 or a 215/35-18, 215/40-18 may be kinda tight, so either one will be fine.
You can always run a little more negative camber to allow the wheel and tire to tuck behind the fender or find something with a +45 offset so it will not "stick out" so much.
