Question Is this possible??

Hey everyone. I had a pretty neat Idea. I heard things like the RSX dash can bolt in our civic, is this true? Also the door panels seem to have the same outline. Are the door panels, dash interchangable? I know the rear self and the rear quarter interior panels can't becuase rsx has a hatch or can this be done too??

Thanks in advance! imp:

Ok i can see how a k20 swap in our vics is cool and all, but why would anyone want to transform his car into another car? Yes the rsx is very similar and parts from that car are easy to swap..But when does it end?? Why not sell ur car and just get a rsx? Im not hatin or anything, it seems like a custom idea ....w/e.

I will look into it and see if it's a possible swap.

No prob. I am going to check the schmatics for the dash board removal and installation for the RSX and Civic. Lucky I know the guys at honda and acura so they let photo copy everything. If this is possible I will do it!

I said the same thing with my JDM type-R swap. I called hasport and asked can it be done? They replied yes. That is all I needed to hear and now it's done.

I doubt it, because the guages and their wiring harness are different otherwise hasport wouldn't have made custom harnesses

The wiring harness can be modified for the gauges because the rsx I belive is running the same wires but different connector. maybe you can wap out the civic connectors and use Rsx ones. I will check the schematics and talk to hasport.

The 95 hatch with the K20 swap had RSX gauges in it, too. Anything is possible.
