I was a busy sob yesterday and finally put together a chart showing the stock size for the front and rear sway bars on the dx/hx/lx/ex models. If you ever wondered what size your car came with, here it is!

i have a 2002 Honda Civic HX

and i have a front and REAR sway bar

Ok...fixed...thanks for the input. That's odd that the hx only got a rear bar for that one year.

Updated the chart and added the Civic Si, GX Sedan, Hybrid Sedan.

Also added other Hondas in their 2004 versions: Insight, Accord Coupe & Sedan, CR-V, Element, Pilot, S2000, and even the Odyssey.

Also added the Acuras for comparison.

A few surprising facts:
The Element has the largest Front Sway bar at 30.0mm
The 03-04 Civics have the smallest at 15.9mm.

The S2000 has the largest Rear Sway bar at 25.4mm
The 03-04 Civics have the smallest at 12.0mm.

The GX Civic sedan has no bars any year.
The HX Coupe only had a rear bar for 1 year in 02.
DX/HX/VP 03-04 models have no bars at all.
Even the Insight has a front bar at 17.3mm.
The Civics that kept the bar after 02 had to settle for a 15.9mm front bar rather than the 25.4mm bar that 01-02 had.

Interesting stuff. Makes you wonder why they would make so many changes in just 4 years.
