Type B lip install

Hey, I have a type b lip that I'll be installing after winter, and these four brackets came with it, and I have no idea what they do, anybody else know?

yes, i just threw the brackets away. Like Vinh said above, 2 screws on each side will do the job. Very simple.

yup those brackets are kinda overengineered you dont need that much reinforcment for that lip . Use a drill to put in the self tapping screws its much easier and if you use a little double sided tape under thenose it helps alittle also

Did any of you have problems with it matching up on the sides right?

Mine doesn't fit very well especially on the passenger side of the vehicle. It's like the top of the part that wraps around the bumper touches, but the bottom is like an inch away f/ the stock bumper. There's just no way I can screw it into there. I haven't screwed anything in yet b/c I don't wanna mess it up : (

Please help

Get someone to help you out, maybe it is not fitted properly that's why it's not fitting. Is the rest of the lip at the place it should be at? Play with it.

The driver's side is pretty much where it should be, but when in that position, the passenger's side is pretty off. Only the very top of the part that wraps into the fenderwell actually touches the car... the bottom is like over an inch away.

Well, i don't have a digi camera, so i can't take a pic, but I think that you're right and mine is just warped

Do you think a body shop can get it to fit right? I don't mind paying a lil if I have to...
