Question for people w/ factory HU and aftermarket amp

I'm about to hook up a 10" Infinty sub and an Alpine amp to my stock head unit. I was just wondering which wire I should use for the remote turn on lead? I would rather use an ignition wire and not the cigarette lighter wire. Does anyone know which wire under the steering wheel is the best to use as a remote turn on lead? Thanks

when i did mine, i just used the live wire from the deck harness, any live wire would not make any diffrence.

Thanks. I didn't want to tap off from the cig lighter because I read some posts about people blowing fuses. Does anybody know which wire is the ignition wire under the steering wheel?
