04 factory hu

i have a cd changer from my old car that i want to put in but i cant seem to get access to the back of the hu. ive read the diy but my car seems to be a little different. i have like an extra piece of plastic trim that goes around the lighter socket section. im not sure if it needs to be removed first or what but if it does how is it supposed to come out. im not in the mood to pry anonymous parts off my new car so i can break them. even if i do know what im doin chances are it will still break somehow
