help on installtion

i just bought a new mp3 player hu and right now i got a jvc hu in my car... when i install the mp3 player hu can i just take the jvc hu out from the front or do i have to take it out like how i did the factory hu.... and then do i just connect the harness with the colors

The old deck should just pull out, but you may need keys to stick in or something. Also if your new deck is made by a different company, you need a new wire harness.

why couldn't i use my same harness my new one is pioneer and my old one was jvc

Each deck comes with it's own harness that plugs into the back of the unit. You need a new harness that connects that plug to the car harness. They're different for each brand.

i have a question; what wiring modifications will i need to do if i get a nakamichi head unit, and i have stock right now? Is it something that i can do pretty easily, or do i need to have it installed?
