Attention Everyone With BODYKITS!
How did you guys jack up your car to change the tires or rotate them...It seems like my Kaminari sideskirts will get messed up if I use the jack the car came with. I feel so
for asking this, but oh well

I had no idea that Kaminari sideskirts also get in the way of the jack. When I was taking my car apart for the winter I could not jack it up to take off the rims unless I took off my Xenon sideskirts first.
If someone has the asnwer I would also love to head it.

i HAVE A FULL kaminari kit and have jacked my car up many times. My car is too low so I have to drive it up on a phone book first. I have a 2 1/2 ton jack that is bigger than the factory one. I ussually come from the front or rear of the car with the jack instead of the side. Your side skirt should not hit the jack points at all.
I need TP for my bunghole

Get a car jack for lower cars.

Or if you have a slightly sloped drive way
have the car half in the street and half in the drive
then you can get a normal jack under the car.
besure to chuck the wheels still on the ground

Welcome to the site BTW
if u use ramps, u have to use 2 x 4's to help get the car on the ramp w/o ruining ur bumper.
EDIT: nevermind, i see that u have been a registered member for quite a few mths.....post some more !!!
I just went through this a few days ago. I have a Xenon kit and I didn't have to remove it to take off the rims. To do it, use the jack that came with your car. Make sure it is all the way down and slide it under your car so that it lines up with the frame, it should have a little indent in it so that the jack will fit there. Start cranking and the car will get off the ground, the back is much easier though cause all you have to do is put the jack on the axle in the back and crank. The hardest part is using the crappy jack that came with the car. Also, you can look in the manual and it gives you some places to jack.
Here is a crappy Diagram:

i have that problem too.... what i do is use a pump jack 2.5ton one mentioned above and put it under the rear hook, middle of bumper thing or somewhere under there where it can support it, then i can slide the factory jack on the side or sides cuz i have 2.
edit: i have the kaminari kit as well

i have G5 kit and a progress drop.
the only way to lift my car with jacks is to have someone lift the front end a bit via fenders and slide the jack under the front and use the front center jack point.
the sides cannot be jacked from a standstill, even with fender lifting.
