Alarm System

Hey for christmas I was wanting a new alarm system for my car. Tyler has the Prestige (Audiovox I think?) with the remote starter. What is the best alarm/remote start you guys think it out there for the money? And where could I get it for a cheap price with installation? I like the remote on Tyler's how it says what your car is doing and stuff too ... any opinion would be sw33t. Thanks "ONE"

I spent 600 for my Clifford MatrixIII alalrm. No remote start because its a 5spd. It has motion alarm, and quite a few other options.

I would go with the new viper alarm. I forget the model number, but it has a pager with it so if someone bumps it, it lets you know. It also has remote start on it. Awesome alarm, and lifetime guarntee

Go here http://www.directed.com/ It is the site for alarams, go to the Viper alarms. They just got a new alarm out that has GPS tracking. That is next on my list. Check it out you wouldn't be disappointed.

what do you think of that one? If you leave the car in N with a 5-spd the remote start should still work just fine. Im kinda on a budget I guess, and That one seems pretty nice. Any opinions on that particular one?

yea thats a good price..i did mine for 220 installed and thats what i have..yea my bro auto starts w/ 5sp just make sure to leave it in neutral cause in order to auto start u have 2 bypass the clutch..therefore if u leave it in drive it will take off. but if you do want the viper w/ pager the guy ^ there was talkin about my friend can get it for like 285 installed..the viper has a better range on the pager then the presteige, but the presteige in my opinion actualy has more features for ur money then the viper plus it comes w/ and extra remote incase u break ur pager or somthin vs the viper has 1 pager and if u break ur viper pager its like 80 bux or so a new presteige pager is like 40-50 buck. thats just my 2 cents

Viper does make theirs with a pager using different technology than the normal fm antenna band. I would check it out, plus with the new GPS model its totally worth it.
