Deal on Alpine type e subs?

Deal on Alpine type e subs? my previous subs, which were pioneer's blew out for no reason except for the fact that they are pioneer's, which aren't to high in quality. anyways, i was wondering if this deal i found on different subs is good: 2 12" Alpine Type E SWE 1241 for $150.....not sure if i should go with these, considering money is limited, or if they are cheap cause they just aren't that good.....help me out here please

Rep Power: 329 nothing against the vr, it's a decent (if not old) woofer, but why does everyone need this sub? there are 8,756 different options out there.
