vtec, what exactly happens with ours?
So i know there are many different variations of vtec on diff honda/acura cars and i know how some of them work, or rather, what happens with the positions of the valves. I also know that it kicks in at 2300-3300 rpm on the 7th gens.
So what do ours do? staggared intake valves at low rpm? both valves open less at low rpms? anything happen with the exhaust valves?

Rep Power: 0 i read somewhere on here that our vtec is different, like we have 2 stages or sumthin. 2XXX rpm "gas" mode kicks in to save gas, and 4XXX rpm "power" mode or wutever. and the "gas" mode is why lx is little bit faster right off the line.

i have yet to see a vtec kick in at 2300 rpms, thats like 10mph in first
