strange idle and cel

does anyone have this problem?
The car idles at 1500 after driving. If you hold the brake and put the car in gear then put a load on it so that it's around 1000 for about 5 secs then it goes back to a normal idle. If you do not do this, after driving the car a few times, the cel light comes on and the car doesn 't run right until you reset the computer.

i have a small idle problem but for me its nothing like you and mine goes away after it warms up, urs could be a vacum leak somewhere, now if ur honda dealer is nice some will just hook up a obdII scanner and get the code print u out a paper and clear it, other than that most of them wont touch them if they have serious modifications, i was told this for like the 100th time saturday at my dealership, i just looked at them and said no ****, ive had two codes in my time, MAP and BARO sensor, which has to do with the equal atmospheric pressure to the MAP if they arent the same then it throws a code, but doesnt have the same effect as the MAP sensor code, a MAP code makes the car just fall flat as soon as it hits boost and the RPMs just go practically to zero

all in all get the code and its better to work from that
