Since Im out of school all week and the weather is nice I want to paint my headlights black, whats the process for this and what do I need to buy?

I used high temperature engine paint. Any paint will work pretty much.. Searh around. there are plenty threads about painting headlights.

I used black pearl made by plasticote. Did an awesome job. Just follow the DIY for clear headlights and when you have them pried open, paint the chrome piece black. It's that easy.

.....here you go....take the clips underneath the fender....take out the for plastic clips on front of the engine...by the radiator...and the bumper should come out...if u want to paint your lights black its best you sand the chrome down with fine sand paper...use a fast drying flat paint...

Dont need to sand the chrome...just use a primer first.

from there you just have to be careful when putting the light back together

Those look sweet az. From start to finish, how long does the painting take? I think mr. modify said it took 8 hrs.

8hrs...

in 8hrs, AZ2K1Civic and I did:
disassembly of front-end
painted 2 grills
painted a set of headlights
painted hood trim
vinyl strips on CF hood
and reassembled
