HELP! Anyone know anyone from Honda Service prefrebably not Formula Honda.
So my car got hydrolocked and I brought it to Formula Honda, they charged me and said its my fault, fine thats ok.
The check engine light is on and when I shift it only shifts into second and sometimes third gear and when I put the car in park, I cant get it out of park, it is locked, I have to let the car sit for a minute or too, turn it off as well and try it again untill I can shift into drive.
So Formula Honda says that its not related to hydrolocking which is good because then its a whole another problem not of my own and it could be covered under warranty but since after bringing in the car with hydrolocking they are somewhat biased on what is causing the problems, mainly saying its my fault.
Sooo I am planning to bring it somewhere else hopefully to get it covered under warranty, anyone know any other dealerships?

Yeah, Action Honda's service guys are pretty nice. I got a CV boot problem before, and even though my car was lowered (which would void all suspesion warranty) they offered to look away and replace the outer CV boot for me ($400 part) under warranty.
Try and just bring your car into there and have them look at it, without telling them about the hydrolock, of course. Try to speak to Hubert, or bring it in when he's there. He's generally more coorperative than Peter.

Ok... I'm confused. You think you hydrolocked your engine and you're having trouble shifting?
Just to let you know... if you hydrolocked your engine... that means you injested a large amount of water causing your engine to sieze. If that was the case... I don't think your engine would even turn over.
Judging from what you said, I'm assuming your engine runs so it's probably not hydrolocked.
Also, about your shifting problems, it has nothing to do with your engine. Get your tranny checked.

Best thing to do anyhow is to take it to Action Honda and tell them all the problems (not the cause) and have them thoroughly check your car. If there were big no no's discovered from Formula Honda it'd be in the service database... So have them check it, but check with you before doing any work or ordering any parts.

You're correct Telly, thanks for clariyfing, where is Action Honda?
It could be the engine because I read how someone got the exact same problem as me and they had to replace their throttle body, some senors and reset engine codes, i let formula know about that but i think they just ignored my *** thinking i dunno what i'm saying....
