Ok i did a little resurch and I found a place out in riverside that makes the lambo door conversion kit for our cars.. Monday I'm going to call them up and try to set up a group buy for us to get the kit at a cheaper price if we all buy at once...as you know regular price is 1,599.00...I want it alot cheaper then that...I mean come on...its like 2 shocks and a couple of hinges...

how many of you r in...serious buyr's only please.....i want to get this asap...

not sure what the price is for us but i just want to see how many of you r in so i can give them a number...

If the door is aligned correctly, then that shouldn't be a problem cause it's still using the same door seals as when the door swung out (at least that's how decah is). Only difference now is the door goes up instead of just out. Just be sure to find a place that can align the door good when getting it installed.

Id rather pay more for a Decah kit I KNOW will be what its worth then take a chance with a product that could not be whats its worth.

wow thats one strong a$$ shock...its a 200lb shock....well the kit comes with everthing so they say...but right now i count 6 people here so i think that just mght be enough to get there attion...dont you think......

only mod that is need...you have to roll the fender well...in order for the shock to slide into the fender when the door closes

that looks like a pretty good kit. I dont get why they cost so much for that small part. I hope the deal goes through and i think everyones cars would look nice.

ya i was pretty dtocked about it myself...looks pretty easy to install, I have the whole PDF file on installation...there installing it on a 03 celica
looks pretty sweet .....

I also found a kit that comes with liner Actuators....the doors open to a full raise and also close by themselfs....thats pretty cool to.....I have to wrk on that one as well.....

can you imagine "stwitch to party sceen, night ending".....Vallay rolls up with your car ....a tricked out civic all lit up, kyustom wide body kit kicking....kustom made rims...car looking like some german import.....
and then you hit the button and the passenger door slides up.....your fine *** date gets in.....you give the vallay guy a tip....hop in ....hit the tunes on....system bumping while the doors slide to there closed posistion......you roll out with a thunderes rev and pop of air from the turbo charged k20 with a blitz BOV....as you roll out the the back plate reads SINFUL KREATIONS.......YA BABY....thats my dream...

ok I'll be faxing them over some info tmrw and will be getting back to all of you with a price per each kit...I hop its a lot better then what I've been resurching....just for $hits and gigles what do you think is a fair price for these's kit...I mean what would you pay...I'm mean come on really...looking at the kit...thats a pretty clean set up they have going there..Its not your tipical hack job....

you can see the quality in this kit.....If i were to make i would be very proud of that one....

i spoke with another company today (AutoLock)...wow and the best they could do is $1450 each for there Universal kit.. and thats for the shock set up and not the Liner Actuated one...(door opens Auto with remote).....that ones like $1900..you can see that one on autolock.com... ..tmrw this other place is going to fax me over some info on there Lambo kit and lets see how they do as far as pricing... just keeping you updated...tmrw i will post up prices when i get the fax quote...

Im wrking on it..... If this place doesnt come through I have one more plan and its as folllowed...

Lets say we all pitch in and buy one Lambo Hing kit.. Just one.....
I have a friend who i spoke to who shall remain nameless here who is the bomb at metal fabing..he makes roll cages, pre-runner control arms, turbo manifolds, race car chasses.....ect...ben in tons of mags..

Well I spoke with him yesterday and i poped this idea to him...What if i got him a lambo hing set up JUST ONE...could he copy it and make it for cheaper for us ....he said just get him the one and he could do for almost half the cost....of the $1599 they want now for the same setup..

Only problem is we need more people in on this cuz at let say i dont get it cheaper $1450.00 for this 6 people group buy each of us would have to put in 241.00 each just to buy the one for him to copy...now then theres his price on top of that....lets say we just cut that in half $1450.00 divided by 2= $725.00 now we add the cost of buy the first kit = out to be $966.00 so about a $1000 bucks... is what you would pay if we went that rout...with just six of us

So you see the more people the better...heres some numbers for you if more people where to come in.. and saying he cell the kit for half the cost of $1450.

10 people.....your cost $870.00

13................................$831.00
15................................$821.00
20................................$797.00

Just remember that cheaper is not always better...Im surching for a quality part as well as a good price...I mean if really wanted to I could go down to home depot and buy all the parts i need to make the kit...but do i really want to do that......this is my door were talking about here....

ok i hear a member on the forum is selling a decah lambo kit..who is it cuz i want to barrow it.... If you take a look at autoloc.com you can pretty much see that this is a simple hing kit to make..just trying to find the hing to swing out and pivit up is the hard part....any know of a place that can make hinges...lol heres the link to auto loc
