Matrix - REVOLUTIONS
TOTALLY, TOTALLY insane movie. I saw it last night at 9:00pm with my girl and some of her co-workers. I only saw RELOADED halfway through (long story) but even still, I found REVOLUTIONS as one of the best, action packed episode of the Matrix Trilogy.
Definitely think that the Matrix trilogy will be worth all the $$$ to have as a collection. That, and LOTR. I saw the preview of LOTR part3 and I can't wait till that comes out too.
Anyway, to those who've seen REVOLUTIONS.. post your thoughts!

Rep Power: 0 i just finished watching the movie tonite too...paid $6.42 so i guess it was worth that much...
but it wasn't as good as the first two... i like the thinking aspect... hardly any in the last one... it was too much fighting...

.. trainmaster... i guess you could of left them out, but it was just for them to make the movie an extra half hour longer... =)

Rep Power: 0 yes i watched part two, but they could have left out the "neo doesn't seem like he's in a coma...the waves look like someone who's plugged in" -> encounter with french guy -> trainmaster
but it was funny when he was trying to run his way out and only to come out on the other side...
anyways, i didn't like the dancing part of that last matrix too...
oh well...i'll keep the comments to myself..

they didnt' explain why Neo could stop those sentinels in the real world?..or did I miss something?...Other than that I am okw ith it, coz there was no other way to end it, Humans' can't win it all.....
But yeah, Why the hell could he see all the lights? why the hell could he make those sentinels exploose like that? Don't get it...

Rep Power: 0 supposedly, neo could stop the sentinels and see all the lights because he was a machine made to be a religious figure for humans and have some control over them so that they wouldn't start another war against the machines...
machines see other machines through that orange glow, so when smith (another machine) was inside bane, neo could still see although blinded.
so in a sense, the machines built two matrices.
1 for 99% of the people who accepted "the matrix" and the other (zion) for those who rejected it.

not like I had any idea in the first place... but I'm definitely buying the trilogy and have a matrix marathon at home so I can have a better understanding of the whole thing.

Rep Power: 0 the way I see it is..neo could do all those things in the matrix because he is the one....at the beginning the machines injected code inside neo and gave him the power to be the one......
and the reason why he could do the same stuff in the "real" world is because the code that was injected in him made him "connected" to the machines........
I guess the part where he was in the train station shows that he can still be plugged into matrix even though he is not phyiscally plugged into it .......
but yeah I get what you are saying..the one's function is another form of control......

Rep Power: 0 well, i read something that said what i summarized below. this may not be 100% correct. maybe if i have the time to sit down and read all the other analyses there are on the web, i can find a better answer. everything is open to interpretation anyways.
neo is a machine, but he was built to have a strong connection to humans so that they would trust him and make him a religious figure. in gaining that trust, the machines wanted the one to control the humans and help prevent a war.
since the first matrix was flawless, they found that they were losing crops (humans) because humans didn't believe everything was exact and could have fit into perfect equations. So, they created another program (the Oracle) whose job was to analyze the human psyche. she found that as long as you gave them a choice, the humans were fine.
so, when humans were given this choice, a minute proportion of the humans did not accept the matrix. so, they must be given an area to stay (zion). so in a sense, there were two matrices.
i don't know... you can believe whatever just as long as it makes the movie seems good to you

i believe in the end, when the Mr. Smith vs. Neo fight was over and it seems like the matirx reboots cause all the rain dries up, Sati does gain a purpose, she controls the sun or time of day, because, at the end, when the Sun rose, the Oracle asks Sati "Did you do that" while pointing at the sun rise, and Sati replies "Yes, for Neo"

yeah I guess that make sense...I just don't like the idea Neo is a machine...coz he is WAY TOO human...he is physically just like a human (he bleeds when he gets hurt...etc.).....But I guess that is not important...as long as the idea is that the Machine made him powerful SOMEWAY, for him to be the one....
