What will my times be
Could some one figure this out.
If I am running a 14.887 now with 17"wheels(21lbs) and a 215/45/17. What do you think my times would drop to if I went to a 16"wheels(16.8lbs) and a 215/40/16..
60ft----2.3
1/4mile---14.887
Trap----93.6mph

SCC jan 2001, power weight , grip, which matters most? on an eclipse gt, going from a 16 to a 17 inch wheel (-2.5lbs/corner) didn't change th1 14 mile time at all 15.5 in both cases, trap speed was up 0.4MPH. So i'd say one tenth at most in your case.
^^ I'll agree on the .1 gain give or take. What you need to do is get your 60' down and that alone would put you in the 14.7's!!
Side note - What mods do you have and what track were you at??

yeah bro... work on the launch (mine is horrible too lately since i got a little faster i cant get it off the line the same).. 60' is a LOT of the race..
yeah I think with a better 60' and that extra bit of weight loss you could hit 14.7's no prob. also check the elevation of the track you go to and if its kinda high search for the next closest track wit an elevation closer to sea level. Good Luck.
