i have the rvm one...

its much lighter than stock and it "underdrives" the alternator and power steering but makes the crank turn faster = a little hp + faster revs...

so if you have a system your battery will run out faster... also at low rpm you will feel the steering wheel gets heavier...

there's nothing wrong with an underdrive pulley...if your worried about it being bad for the engine. BUY the pulley and go to a machine shop and make sure its balanced.

i just replaced my pulley with a 1.8lb one but i heard that the stock one only weighs like 5,6 pounds but it made a good difference and i only paid $50

DHRACING like whoa..first one to put it on a 7thgen. lightest and best one out.. cant say enough about it, im sure peoiple are sick of me by now.. the lightest one besides DH is 1.8lbs or so, DH is 6 OUNCES!!!! look for DH-racing.com, call and ask for JOSH...
