I don't want to offend you guys or anything but a vtec engine isn't going to whoop anybody. Not even in a mini cooper.

No offense but you are kidding right? A mini or a Honda is not going to do 5.0 0-60mph. I realize that Hondas are great cars, I have two, but they are not race cars. My vette with 395RWHP/ 444 at they fly wheel will barely do 0-60 in under 5 sec. lease:

Oh boy, I won't get started on what I think of as "domestic trash" because your prolly a nice guy. But I have seen dozens of hondas out perform vettes. I have a friend now running a 96 DX Hatch with a GSR swap (everything stock) running a 13.1 blew the doors off a Mach1 the other day.

As for what this topic is really about... what motor is that?

Dude 13.1 is not even close. I run low 12s , that is quite a bit of difference. I run low to mid 13s with the S2000 with nothing but an air intake and VAFC. Still the S is not even close to the vette. There is no replacement for 380ft lbs of torque. As I said before I am not trying to be an ***, just keepin it real, then again.............it is just my humble opinion.............you decide.

please tell me what you have done to your C5 to get the numbers you claim, looking at your sig pic, it's obviously not a Z06 due to the lack of vents in front of the rear wheels

Also, unless you suck at the driving, you should pull mid 4's in the 0-60 and low 4's with drag radials

I was speaking figuratively, my 0-60 time is around 4.5-4.7 seconds. Truthfuly though can you see this car doing those kinds of numbers and top MPH based on weight to HP numbers. I dont think so

the 0-60 may be possible in that mini if they are on drag radials, maybe even slicks, and dump the clutch at a HIGH rpm.

ok just to give you an idea there cheif,

your "Vette" even if you have one which i doubt, has a power to weight ratio of about 8 lbs per horse power. the mini has 6 lbs per horsepower with that motor in it, so infact not only is it faster than iroc boy, its faster than your car too.

Power to Weight ratio owns j00.

and btw. nice fake Z06

so evil arent you guys, and if you guys didnt notice, the mini has HUGE tires on the front so it gets all the power to the ground... and it wouldnt be a good sleep with thoes tires on it :-D and as for hondas being slow, ive seen many a hatch own boxers and way more $$ cars... ask bobby, hes seen a hatch take out a supra....

listen guys you bring that mini or your honda down to NC and you can find out if I really have a vette. lol Money equals speed there is no doubt, but I still say that a mini with 175hp did not go 135 in the 1/4 and that it will not do o-60 in under 5 sec. Now you show me some slip times and I will be a true believer. Until then I will stay say now way.

As for a hatch beating up on vettes, supras, boxters like I said money equals speed and you can make anything fast with $$$.

One more thing...........why does owning a nice car bring out the haters. lol Dont hate............congratulate! Take care there speed demons.

why does it take a honda to have a swapped built engine, 30 psi of boost, and HAVE to run on c16 to make 550 hp at the wheels, and a Z06 a nice supercharger on 6 psi to make the same power.
