okay so i go to the leasing office to finalize all the paperwork for my new apt... the credit report comes back and says that my financial credit is excellent.... on the other hand...
i had THREE PRIOR EVICTIONS on my record....
when i heard this i was like what the heck... cause i've been living at home all my life and i've never lived anywhere else but home.... so because of these evictions, my landlord would not let me sign the lease until i prove that these evictions weren't mine...
problem is... i really don't know where to start... i just want to be able to make a phone call and get rid of all these things from my record but i think it's going to be rather difficult and time consuming...
anyone have any advice ???

dammm dan that iish suck's ***! well i use to work for a credit reporting agency so i know what u need to do. what u need to do is get a copy of you'r credit report, then find out what company's are showing it on there like experian, trans union, equifax. thoe's are the only!! 3 company that will ever show anything on ur credit. after you find out wich ones are showing it you'r going to have to get a hold of them, and let them know that this isnt right and its fraud and they will take it from there. the only down side to this is that it could take some time.

credit report from a reputable company..
u can get all 3 for like 30-50 bucks depending on where u go.
check yahoo... typing credit report will bring up a butt load. u can use the one yahoo recommends, that should work.
the thing is, I'm not sure if those evictions will show up on ur credit report... cuz i'm not sure if those are two diff. records.
but they're probably not. its just of course i never got evicted so I duno if it'll show up on the credit report, or some other report.
usually getting those credit reports, they'll be able to give you numbers to the 3 credit bureaus and you'll be able to contact them about the error on ur report.
you should also search on "fixing identiy theft"
there are forms u can fill out to fix errors on credit report.
sorry to hear about the problem, it can be fixed though.. so... just takes time.

its gonna take a long time. and once you dispute it, it will stay on your report....it doesn't get taken off. you have to fight to get that taken off as well. its a big huge pain in the ***....
see ifyou can work out a deal with your landlord...otherwise he will rent the apt to someone else, and you will be f**ked and still livin at home....

If you need to get a copy of your credit report (with scores) from the 3 bureaus I can hook you up for free, rather than you paying another company to do it for $35-$50. I work for a loan company so I have access to running credit reports everyday. As far as what you need to do to fix the problem, I'll try making some calls and see what I can find out.

yeah go to http://www.equifax.com
get the 3 in 1 credit report. Then fill out the online disputes
for each of the complaint...it will take about a week to have
it removed from your credit report.
Good luck

Damn dan. That sucks. I know exactly what you have to do tho....
find the b@stard and beat the isht out of him, take him to your credit agent, make him confess, beat the isht out of him again, take him to the police and let them take it from there. Im sure you could use a bat or something soft like that to persuade him to talk.
I would say run him over, but its hard to get the dents out of intercoolers.

This might just be the easy way out, but are you sure the appartment complex has the right social number? and name and everything? I had a dealership do that to me. They just mixed paperwork somehow.
easy answers first.
