If I could afford it, I'd use royal purple too... plus I don't know of any stores in my area that sell it.. honestly can you really tell a difference using it? or is it just for that peace of mind....

doesn't really seem like i'm to much losing to much of anything!!

I drove to Austin for 3hours straight at 60mph most of the time through and it was like a 225 mile + trip and i had a full tank of gas when i left and when i got there it was just below the 75% marker so i thought that was pretty good for highway driving !

you could have gotten better with 5-20 but with turbo applications I strongly recommend heavier weights and some better quality oils fully synthetic

I could feel a difference with the royal purple, my car ran smoother and since I used royal purple tranny fluid when the tranny fluid was replaced the car shifted better. also you can run royal purple for 10,000 miles between oil changes, I dont recommend it, but how many oils can say that. I went about 7,000 miles and the car still ran great.

AMSOIL

"All AMSOIL Synthetic Motor Oils dramatically outperform conventional petroleum motor oils. They reduce friction, heat and wear for maximum power, performance and fuel efficiency. Resistant to high temperature burn-off, chemical breakdown and sludging -- keeps engines cleaner. Provide low temperature fluidity for fast, dependable winter starts and immediate start-up protection. Exceed the most demanding world-wide performance standards and meet warranty requirements for all domestic and imported passenger car engines, both turbo-charged and non-turbo-charged. Up to 25,000-mile or 1-year drain intervals."

i use amsoil full synthetic 10w-30 and amsoil filter, but i am changing to amsoil 5w-30 next(i brought a 12 pack for 10w-30, have to use them all up first, only 2 more oil changes to go )

well.. makes it easier to turn move your pistons with thinner oil.... thinner oil = less resistance, less resistance = better gas milage
