need help installing a c.a.i. on an 01 civic ex a/t
is there is anybody out there that knows how to install an aem cold air intake with a bypass valve on an 01 civic ex with an automatic transmission? there is only one problem, the intake is meant for a manual transmission civic. please help a.s.a.p.
there are no way for a manual transmission intake in an auto, mine is same situation as you before and the only way I can do is put it between header and front grill, but it's not a cai anymore cause it suck hot air from the header, so what did I do now is cut it in half like sri and put a heatshield on. hope it would help.

Yea...lots of ppl say that MT CAI won't fit into a AT but I coulda sworn someone did it once. But I guess you could do it the way cheukkin did it too.

I couldnt help to notice, but why is it when I look at other peoples AEM intakes, they do not have a CARB sticker on it? Is my intake the only one out there with one? Actually, I have two on it, they both say OEMCARB Qualified. I leave it on there in case some cop wants to get smart with me, since I live in Cali.
im in know way mr. know it all but i am pretty sure, but not positive, that there is a way to fit a c.a.i on an automatic ex. this website, www. madstatik.com/2k1civic has something about this but i dont remember for sure so if anyone out there wants to surf the web and see if they can find something on this im pretty sure that all us ex owners with an auto would greatly appreciate it, oh and b.t.w. the C.A.R.B. legal sticker is on my s.r.i. also just thought id let you know. and b.t.w how much is the injen intake?
