Went to 1/8 mile track!

i got two runs, both were 10.3XX i know i can run a good bit better i just couldnt hook up, because i wasnt burning the wet off of them at the beginning, so i was spinning a lot off the line. But still decent runs, i have I/H/E

hmm yeah get your 60' down to low 2.2's you could get down to 10.2 10.1 which is enough to beat a lot of bad GT-S drivers I see!!! good luck!

you should talk to some of the people on here and see how they launch and control the water box. I'd give you advice but I launch at 7K I don't think you can do that. lol good luck though! you should look for any Celica GT-S guys almost all run 10's lol you'd look really fast.

That's a pretty good time though. Its amazing how much the humidity plays a part in racing. Down here I have 60' times of 2.4 and my fastest time ever is 11.000 flat.

2.4 60' is pretty bad though means you spun through to 2nd if you calm that down to a 2.2 you'd be sitting 10.6 10.7

um one quick way to help a lil is take out everything in your trunk,
spare/jack/etc, also remove your passenger seat. 4 bolts really easy job. that'll save you a good amount of wieght and help your times by .05 or more!! I removed front/back seats in my car gained 1.5 tenths in the 1/8 3 tenths in the 1/4!!

I think it would take a mid 2.1 or better launch to put you in 9's so with out dr's or more mods I dont think it'll happen but good luck anyways should be a nice lil challenge!!

well here's my setup:
9.6 - full interior

9.50 - no seats

9.434 - no seats + put Ice on the intake manifold 30 mins before I ran.

16 psi font 32psi in the rear will start using 43psi in the rear next time

Yokohama AVS ES 100 tires. Everything else all stock!

however I have the fastest stock times that have been posted anywhere. the average for ANY celica is 10.0 - 9.9 I usually see them with mid 10's for newbies. (GT-S's) mainly cause the GT-S is hard as heck to get to hook up properly.

There has been 1 guy already to hit 13.9 in the 1/4 N/A and my teamate is going to try and beat that time on sat. My times before his last mods were .2 away so I'm hoping to be there myself with just the new clutch and I/E! but we'll see how my car is when I get it back.
