oh well!! i already got the fiber glass side skirts from Dekun and there Octane and he was selling them and he was practically giving em away...i guess i'll have to look for some urethane ones then!!
Fiberglass sides aren't particularly bad. It's the front that gets the most road exposure. I have a lot of friends with FG sides and rear who haven't had a single problem with them.
I personally have polyurethane sides, but after the year or so I've owned them, they haven't so much as touched the ground. I see no reason why fiberglass sides would be any different.
Finally, painting urethane is difficult, plus once the paint starts to chip and crack, that's it. With fiberglass, you can touch up and quickly repair damage. While that's less than ideal for a front, this is good for side skirts and rear aprons. There are advantages and disadvantages to both.

Definitely Urethane sideskirts here in H-town if you look at the underside of my skirts it looks like it has never been painted at all from all that scraping can't wait to get some coilovers and raise my ride.
I'm dropped on eibach sportlines right now and i'm not enjoying riding around feeling every bump and crack on the road i want to get teins and just drop 1 inch around. I can always drop lower if i want
