Hey, just wondering what kind of times you guys are running?

I took my civic to the dragstrip at Cayuga today. Ran it completely stock, well other than lowering. I have a 2003 lx-sport sedan, so I guess it's probably the heaviest civic out there with a wimpy 115hp engine. lol

I ran a bunch of 16.6's with high 2.4x 60's times. Was hoping to get a 16.5 run if I smoothened out my launch a bit better, but then my crew had to leave. Just to let you know, those stock firestones suck crap for launching!

thanks, I'm pretty sure it's possible to hit a 2.3, maybe even a 2.2 60's time with the stock firestones, but it's hard. I hit a 2.40 once but I hit the rev limiter in 2nd gear. But all those domestics oiled up the track good, so it was hard to hookup, the guy with the VW there had RA1's on and was also getting 2.5 60's times. Although my buddies with their AWD cars (TT and WRX) were getting 1.8 60's times.

Here's a shot of me getting my butt smoked. lol

I was just at Sparta on Sat. Did horribly!!
Turns out I cant launch for sh*t. And in no way am I able to feel the tree.

Best run was 16.74.
Best reaction time was 0.87 (i think) several reaction times were 1.something.

Don't worry, my reaction time is garbage too, but it's ok. Reaction times only matter in bracket racing. It doesn't affect your quarter mile time at all. Quarter mile times are calculated when you start moving.
