Need all the opinions I can get for a lower tie bar & rear tie bar...

Hey guys,

My girlfriend's birthday is a month from now and I would like to buy her a lower tie bar and a rear tie bar. I drive a domestic while she drives a 02 civic so Im a bit off on the brands for the civic.

She already has a front strut bar, but to have a lower and rear bar would complete the setup she's been wanting out of her suspension.

I read a few forums and people like the Neuspeed. Again I need help on what you prefer.....oh and heres something to help out.

I would like to keep each bar to no more then $80 Oh and if someone can tell me if even getting a lower tie bar or rear tie bar would be worth it, I would appreciate it as I would hate to spend the money on something she won't even notice.........for example the front strut bar...its a Ractive. But lets dont talk about the front strut bar.....no more Ractives. I know.

Please help guys and some websites would be great. I tried Ebay but Im not going to risk getting a no name junk. Thanks alot.

Well... how hard do you intend to drive it? While the front bar actually helps to reduce some of the hop and understeer, unless you're going to beat on it hard, the rear strut bar is gonna do nothing, and the rear tie bar won't do anything without a sway bar upgrade.

Ok, well is it worth to get all 3 rear bars to make a big difference or am I better just getting the rear sway/ rear tie bar combo for better results?

Also I looked on the link, and I only saw the Progress rear sway bar....but no rear tie bar. Can I mix a Neuspeed rear tie bar with a Progress rear sway bar? I would love to buy a Progress rear sway bar and get a Type R rear tie bar off ebay lol....but I want the best results.

Progress Rear Sway Bar 22mm + tie bar

The bar is a easy install. At the same time its easy to install it backwards . Few things to look for when you install it backwards...

- The sway bar will be very close to the tie bar (almost a inch off the progress sticker).

- The end links will be pointing towards the front of the car, at an aggressive angle! (wrong, they should be more vertical).

been reading through many reviews. progress setup would be the best for price. not to mention there is GB . only 165 shipped. The cheapest price ive ever seen.
I had ebay rear upper bar. low tie bar. didnt make ANY differences.

the progress sway bar has the tie bar integrated into its design... i'd say get that and if you want the full set up in the back, add the cusco rear upper strut bar to the shopping cart....

2001-2004 Honda Civic Anti-Roll Bar (Front) 27mm part #61.1006
2001-2004 Honda Civic Anti-Roll Bar (Rear) 22mm part #62.0102
I was quoted $259 US and $35 to ship them to Ontario, Canada
email Brad Vlastuin at Never Enough Auto Accessories (www.neverenuf.com) for your quote....NeverEnufOnline@hotmail.com
Phone 616-633-6273
He also quoted me $335 for a Magnaflow catback system delivered.....it is a good deal for Canadian buyer because he has a Magnaflow supplier in Toronto.....and you should also be able to beat the customs brokerage fee and the 15% GST/PST
