Mine only rattles in the rains right under the shifter but it ONLY happens when it rains. Others have had the same problem but from what I can tell, all it does is rattle and hurts nothing. It's just when you are driving in the rain and it starts to rattle, the shifter begins to rattles like its being tapped.

i used to think mine rattled by the tip of the muffler. But after looking more closely at it, it was the exhaust that was making the licensce plate rattle. Hope this helps.

gideon, yeah exatly it rattles under the shifter....
vinh, i already tried that. but it didnt shut off...

i was thinking about putting a rubber around the pipe under the shifter, so that if it vibrates it wont make a noise. or maybe put a hanger near where it rattles, cause my friend says it rattles because it needs more hanger.. what do you guys think??
