Hi all I think something is wrong with my car cause I have been clocking my car between fillups and my car for 6 times in a row went from a full tank to E in just 220 miles I know something is wrong has this happend to anyone?
Here's the deal. Only us SoCal people are getting these #s, particularly, SFV people. On a full tank, I reset the trip meter, and am approaching E, (no light on yet) and have 218 miles. ALL CITY. I'm assuming thats just stop and go driving. Normally, I'm lucky to reach 220. Im suprised im at 220 with no light on right now. I do floor it a lot. Your not alone Jon...
Today I got 280MPG and my tank was full with just 10gallons. Thats 28mpg.
On most other days my light comes on when I have around 250. I fill my tank up right then and I need close to 12gallons for a full tank.
I drive it exactly the same each time, which is lots of hard driving.
I don't get how my mpg's spike up and down frequently.

There are so many threads on this you should do a search and see what people recommend. Those sound like my numbers. I usually get 22mpg.

I used to get the cheap 87 octane, would get like 360mpg and thats cuz I didnt break in the engine whole way that Im supposed to. But...iono bout this 220 miles thing tho. Sounds like you need to check all the connections and erreything.

400 miles I'm hearing? Unbelievable.
My car, I know for a fact, was not broken in properly. Freaking Honda World in Downey joyrided a couple hundred miles on my car.
I get poor mileage also.. grrrrr...

i filled up my 1st full tank (till the bump stops) on saturday, got 160 miles now and its like a lil bit( like 2 or 3 small white dashes) above half way. floor it twice in a while....so i guess thats good mileage.

I get 30/31 mpg at the minimum.
thats with a good mix of regular city driving, traffic stop and go, and highway driving.
I use to get 35/37 easily but I think my stock filter is dirty and I'm lazy to clean it or replace it.
actually I'm lazy to put back in the FIPK...
SFV can't be THAT high in elevation to affect mpg that much.
er.. is there lots of hills there? like do u guys have to drive up and down thru lots of hills? heh. no right?
for those with below 300, something is "wrong"
although mods effect it quite a bit too... which sucks cuz u lose quite a bit of mpg for like -5 hp. haha.
