I have a 1.75" drop and I was havin trouble goin to places to get my oil changed. And I was thinkin how the heck u guys wit a 2"-2.5" drop hoist your car up? I just bought a hydrolic jack and it just barely fits underneath.
Dude I have the same problem as you do I have eibach sportlines and it's getting to my nerves recently can't drive to steep angles and all the s*&t lowering your car does. I have my oil changed in a shop that has a lift specifically for dropped cars my oil changes cost me $50 a pop I use Royal purple oil.

I think some peeps drive up on blocks of wood, then when its up high enough they use a floor jack and jack stands. Or some use the stock scissor jack.. dunno. I have Eibach Sportlines but I can get my 3-ton floor under my car without any problems.

At the dealership that I work at, sometimes we have to take boards and such to streach out the ramps on the lifts in order to get lowered cars on there. But there are some oil change places that don't even require that. I used to go to a Texaco X-Press Lube. In their bay they don't have lifts for the oil changes, they go down stairs under the bay and open the grates under your car. That way they are under the car with out the trouble of lifting it.

my car from bottom of bumper to ground is 1 and 7/8" which sucks because thats the height of one 2x4 so i have to drive up on 2, 2x4's then put 2x4's in front of those and drive up and then i can finally stick my jack in the wheel well and teeter tot it around to the jack spot. it takes like 15 min to drive /jack up the front of car... or if i go to place where u drive into bay where they walk down stairs i have to take off front bumper and unhook fog lights....sucks to be me sometimes..
riley
thisis with 1.4 drop w/ my erebuni kit... once i get 19's im droppin on B&G 3" so im gonna liek kill my kit i think but it'l mos def look good......:-)

where do u put the jack at. i mean i got a hydraulic one and i tried to jack my car up and it jacked up like a foot over my rim and it was sitll on the floor, so i stopped and took it somewhere to get it done. i didn't kno why it wasnt going up. i cant put it right on the corner where ur suppose to cuz my body kit like curves in near the wheel well where the point is so i had to move it down further. any thoughts?

for oil change places, ask them to back your car in from the exit side of the stall, it usually will go then. also, for the jack, either lift up on the car and have someone slide the jack into position or drive up on a 2x4 and then slide the jack under.
if you can't fit the jack under the jack points on the sides of the car, then you can jack up your car by placing the jack in the dead center of the car (front or back) and sliding it in under the part where the control arms meet in the center, but use a block off wood to buffer the chassy and the jack. Once the car is up high enuf, place jack stands on both sides of the car and pull out the jack. This worked for my sway bar install. I hope i didn't confuse people, cause i dunno if there is a term for that part of the car. ^_^
