Well i wish i listened to my mom and fixed myself something to eat in the kitchen instead of goin out. long story short cause i allready typed all this up and the browser closed on me. About 2 hours ago i hit a deer and im really depressed right now cause the wrecker hauled my car away. I dont know if its totalled or not. but the hole left headlight is gone and the hood crumpled, the airbags did not go off. I was going about 45 mph and didnt hit the breaks till the deer was like 2 feet in front of me. I just need some feedback....

Damn dude sorry to hear that. Your car probably won't be totaled. It shouldn't be unless there was massive structural damage. just take it easy man and don't sweat it.

yes i will buy a new one........How does it work again? this is how i understand it, pleace correct me if im wrong. I owe honda $10,669.29, if its totalled the insurance company pays off the car. Then what do i get? The amount of the car? or the rest of the amount of the car for its Total worth? I think its worth $12,675 in kbb. Does that mean I get about 2,000 from the insruance company towards a new car

it probably wont be totalled. i railed a deer at about 70 mph with my stratus right beforei got my civic this summer. it was only about $1400 damage, and my insurance covered it because it was a deer, it should be under comprehensive coverage.

Traded it in two months later for the SI.
Did you notice any frame damage?
Your insurance will prolly total it.

watch for the 5spd though, never ever launch (5k+ clutch drop)that car unless you like having the pressure plate explode or something like that. i like my auto cause its just a fun overall drive

Well it looks like the frame holding the radiator is smashed, but the bumper part of the frame is almost untouched. The bumpercover itself as you can see its really screwed up...

dont worry about your car. i'm pretty damn sure that insurance will fix it. when i got into my accident my car looked ALOT worse than yours. you probably got like 6k worth of damage to your car. as long as a good body shop is gonna fix up your car you got nothing to worry about. my car still drives like new.
from the pictures it looks like its your bumper, and that took most of time impact. I personally don't think it would be totaled, I had a wreck 10x worse than that and it got fixed, now its as good as new.
