Factory shock sensors vs. pager alarm system
After getting my car broken into I need to jump on a good security system. Honda says they'll put in their shock sensors and crap for like $400 in all, but I could get the Clifford Matrix Rs3 for like 240 online and get it put in for around 250.. should I just get shock sensors from honda and let them take care of it or put in an entirely new system which is obviously more advanced by some install place that I dont even know is reliable or not.. what do you guys think?
the stock alarm sucks. it doesn't have a regular shock sensor, it only has a shock sensor for the windows. so that means the alarm only go off if someone opens your door/trunk/or breaks your windows. oh yeah theres no hood sensor neither. I'd get the aladdin fm pager system, my buddy has it in his type R and caught fools trying to steal his car like 3 times. his pager went off and he ran down with his 9mm haha.

I have the Alpine 150R which has shock sensor, dual motion detector and such. I got it all installed for under $500 and I got the DEI pager installed with it for another $200 so I have all of the above, I love the system and it is one of my better purchases.
