Is this hard on my car???

Ok this might be a dumb question but hopefully someon will have some insight. Ok the drive to my work is about 85km round trip, now since I dont wanna put loads of km's on my vic I pay my buddy who lives real close to drive everyday, So my civic basically satys parked in the driveway all week since I dont really go out alot during the week but come the weekend I drive it all over. Now is this hard on my car to be sitting all week without being driven than driving a whole bunch on the weekends??? sorry for the novel size post, any insight would be appreciated.

I try to drive every few days, even if it's just for 15-30mins. Just go out cruising if you have to. This will keep everything flowing.

It's not going to hurt anything.

I don't know why you would buy a car to worry about the miles. You bought it to drive so that is what you should do. The depreciation due to the mileage is being paid to your friend for his taxi service so what's the difference?

I don't think you should worry about the miles especially because you bought a honda.

Well I still drive it lots its not like I wont drive it all caue I dont wanna put km's on it, like some people who store there civics in the winters, Im just thinking if were both going to work at the same place than why not car pool? plus I know its only a civic but why put more km's than I have to. Plus I save on wear and tear too. but thanks everyone else.

HondaLuver will become famous soon enough
just start it up every once in a while and let him drive all the time cause the more millage u don't drive the more you save with matenience. pretty much, after payments, oil, tires, and matenience, i have come to a conclusion that it cost 1 dollar for every mile you put on your car. overall in the long run... blah

I drove mine everyday, and the days I didnt drive it I still warmed it up. I just like to keep my car used to running a lot, esp with the way I drove. Engine was holding up just fine for being driven hella hard, was at 16k miles, nothing wrong at all. Gas milage still good too. Now it just sits tho cuz I got hit and its totaled.
