Code Alarm

I was wondering if anybody else has a Code Alarm on their 03 civics. I recently the alarm/starter combo installed on my car but the starter won't work. The car will start for one second then turn off. The installers worked on fixing the problem for 2 hours and still no luck. I'm bringing the car back to them, on Monday, and they are going to continue trying the fix the problem.

Is it possible that Code Alarm isn't compatible with the 03 civics?

btw, the alarm part works fine.

Without a immobilizer bypass the ECU won't power the fuel pump without the right key in the ignition. Look for something like the DEI 555i for our car to get remote start to work.

The way to check this is to place a key in the ignition but not turn it on and see if the car remote starts/runs normally. If it does then they didn't bypass the system correctly.

i have a clifford matrix with remote start.

i've been told by the installer is that our keys have a built in computer chip and if the right key is not in our ignition or a bypass module our car won't start.

are you sure your car is starting or is it just cranking?

"i lost my spare key to put in this module that holds it"

if its shutting off still with slumpert suggestion they must have installed it incorrectly with your key in the ignition in the on position without the engine being cranked on the remote start should work.
