Question Molding ABS Plastic

I just got my M3 mirrors in today without LED. Before I get them painted and installed I want to mold them all as one peice. Right now there is a spot where the mounting plate and the mirror come together and I would like to fill it. The question is what would I use to fill it? I'm thinking bondo or body filler of some sort but I live in Michigan and the winters get pretty cold and the summers get really hot. I need something that will expand at about the same rate as the mirror so it does not crack. Any suggestions? Any DIY? Thanks for the help.

They also sell plastic putty. I've used it to fill in stuff on ABS models before. Works quite well. Any well stocked hobby shop should sell it. The brand I use is Great White... it seems to be the easiest to work with.

you can mold abs plastic with a heat gun that you can buy at walmart and you just get it hot and shape it however you want.'
