valve cover torque

i just installed a cam gear and i was wondering if anyone knew what to torque the bolts on the valve cover to. it only took 10 ft lbs to loosen them, so i tightend them to 10 for now. Im just making sure because 10 ft lbs seems loose to me.

DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN those bolts.... I alreayd broke like 3 of them which really sucks.....

According to my Helms manual, your suppose to tighen the cylinder head cover in two or three steps, ending with the final torque setting of 7.2lbf-ft.
