Question Honda Trannies

what the hell is up with the transmissions in the honda cars?
If anyones read my previous threads they know i had a problem with my 7th gens tranny and i got it replaced under warranty, now my dads accord trany has went out, just like his previous accord did.

So i was wondering, does anyone know if theres a problem with the honda transmissions or is it just me.

I'm assuming automatic considering I've never heard a Honda manual tranny failing. So it can't be they don't know how to drive. (Unless they do constant neutral drops.)

Don't do it. It may be the most sure-proof way to burn out an automatic Civic but you'll eventually destroy your transmission.

The manual tranny in my 6th gen went out at about 45,000 miles. I had a damaged shift fork and all the bearings needed to be replaced. Sure I drove hard, but I didn't power shift or anything stupid like that. I wonder how long the 5 spd in my 7th gen will last.

So far, I've heard nothing about the 7thGen's trannies except gears grinding in certain gears. But that issue is most likely happening to people who sit too damn far from the clutch, OR people just used to shifting quick - and all have a easy solution to them.
