well from what i understand the Civic Si coilovers fit on our car without modification.
I have done a search on the net to find some sites that sell the JIC's but every site I go to says TBA (to be anounced) for the price of the Si coilovers. The Tein Flex's I have found with no prob but most of the site want like 1600-1800 for the FLex system for the si, anyone no where to get them cheaper?
Well if anyone can give me links that actually have the price and not some TBA crap that I have been finding I would appreciate it thanks.
O if you are wondering why I don't just get the SS's its because I want the EDFC. Thanks for your help guys.

I got the JIC's for the EP from a local shop here and all they did was call up ziel motorsports and order them. I think they had an account but retail they are around 1800. IMO well worth it even tho I didnt pay close to that price
I highly recommend the EP FLT-A2 they are worth every penny.

You won't find them any cheaper tha 1500 and that is some kind of group buy. They are good coilovers, but they expensive. If you want them just pay the cash

My Brother and I put a set of JIC's in his RSX-S. Install was easy, and fit right in. The ride is awesome. Way better than stock. No more bounce.
One spring was making noise when turning, but a half turn of the spring itself solved that problem. The only trouble with the JIC's is that they did not come with instructions, so we had to figure out how to properly set them. They are very adjustable. Big $$$ though.

I forgot to add, that I'll be saving up for a set for my civic. If they are the same for the civic, they should drop right in as well. On a sidenote, the front dampening is adjusted from below. Easy. The rear set is adjusted from the top. On the RSX you have to remove the interior to get to the screw. On the civic, I think you can get to them through the "secret" compartment behind the rear seats.
The ones for the RSX aren't the same for the Civics. Get the one for the EP3. If you get the one for the RSX you'll have to shave your tie rod. If you get the one for the Si, you don't have to do a goddamn thing except bolt it on.
EDFC won't fit our cars..even if you get the FLEX for the Si, the EDFC still won't fit, untless u cut a part of your hood out...from what i heard, tein is trying to make a FLEX system with EDFC that will fit all 01+ civic models...price range still 1700-1800 + 300 for edfc.
IMO, I don't see why people want the EDFC. I think people just want it just because it's a neat device... but ask yourself.
How often are you going to adjust your dampiner for daily driving if you don't race your car? It makes no sense. You can't possibly spend that money just for show. I think it also takes the the driver out of touch with his car. Not to dog the convenience of technology, but I think it's a waste of money. All that money just to stiffen up the struts? Only if you don't have strong arms/legs. But even if you do, you're either handicapped or shouldn't be driving.

I'm just gonna surprise myself and get them but I'm wondering if I should go with custom spring rates. However that means I do need to ride in the car anyways to pass judgement on the original rate.
Hmmm. Some people think the original spring rates of the FLT-A2 is stiff enough, but everyone's perspective of what's stiff and what's soft is different. Plus not everyone uses their car for the same purposes.
You never got back to us (dober) whether you put your dampers on the stiffest setting... did you ever try it?

If you want serious handling go with the EP JIC-Magic FLT-A2's. My friend talked me into these things and Im so glad he did because I wouldnt trade them for any other setup. I dont know what else to tell you other than the fact that they are unbelievable! My friend just put Tein SS on his accord and I cant believe how different they feel. He even says that my ride feels so much better. The body will always roll slightly but then its up to the suspension to support the body through the turn...well the JIC's support the body magnificently. Trust me man you will not be disappointed.
