stock spark plugs
ok so i just pulled out my spark plugs to replace with iridum plugs... and i was wondering what was your stock plugs? cause the number on my plugs were denso pkj20cr-m11 which im thinking are the platinum plugs
anyone else find this? it seriously takes like 2 min to check if you are stock.. you just need a long extension and spark plug socket...

I'm pretty sure that mine were denso too. Too lazy to walk to the garage...
Some civics come with NGK's...not sure what year or model.

the stocks are either denso (the part # u said) or NGK.
they're like the expensive double platinum ones.. about 10 bucks each.
hence there's little point going to iridium, the stock plugs are good enough already to last quite a long while.
(for stock plugs, ours is expensive as hell.... they should be only 2-3 bucks EACH, not 10 or 13.. I know when its time to change, I'm not going to pay for more than 13 bucks on a SET of spark plugs)
anyway if ur plug gaps are good and it isn't fouled up somehow, you shouldn't replace it. iridium IMO, doesn't do anything but last longer.
