New rattle: driver's side door/window area

I seemed to have developed a new rattle.

The car is a 2001 LX Sedan.

The rattle seems to involve the driver's side front window. It seems to occur when the window is up all the way. In other words, when the window is open, I cannot hear the rattle. Also when the door is open, tapping in the inside door seems to create the rattle.

It started about 2 weeks ago after driving over a bumpy road for about 2 miles and this apparently has caused the car to loosen up further.

Closing the window with the window pushing a folded up napkin into the groove seems to help eliminate the rattle.

Any experience with this and suggestions on how to correct?

Ahh, the Civic is such a luxury car.

Rattle in door. Any suggestions?

I seem to have developed a rattle in the driver's side door (sedan). It seemed to happen after driving over a rough road. I only hear it when the window is all the way up. When the window is open, the sound disappears. Even if the window is only open slightly and the door panels push out the way they do (power windows), the rattle is lessened. Does anyone have any experience with this. I'm wondering whether I may have broken a clip or something with the window track when going over that rough road. Thanks.

No, I know about that one. This one seems to be related to the door. I guess no one else has the rattle. But thanks.

Did you check the TSB's? There is one for that, involving some felt between the door panel and door.

I had a rattle in my drivers door - well I still do.

I keep taking it to Honda, and they keep fixing it by putting felt in there, but it only works for a short while. Im not sure what it is. I have never driven on a gravel road or anything, but the damn thing always rattles when I play anything with bass, and I only put my bass at +1!!!
