Ok, I want to relocate where the key goes to start the car. I hate how the keys hit my legs when I drive and I figure it would be a cool little mod to do anyway. Can someone please help me? I don't know if it is as easy as extending some wires to where I want to relocate it or if there is more involved. I also think our keys have chips in them so how do I keep that active?

its just extanding i geuss but then ull have a big hole there just use butt connecters from radio shack or sumthign and some good wires and u should be alright. it might be hard to take it out tho

the key assembly is also part of the steering assembly so your have to mod the actual steering wheel
