SRS light Honda FIX!!!
Drove around for a week wondering what the f was up w/ my SRS light.
Found this posted in some forum. Tried it, it worked, it saved me at least a quoted $90 diagnostic. In combing many forums, it looks like many people were bent over the barrel by Honda on this one... you can't even trust your f'n friendly neighborhood Honda dealer!
Problem : SRS light on Honda (Civic, Odyssey, Accord) won't turn off.
Cause : cables underneath seats were disconnected, SRS fuse was removed/replaced (new stereo, alarm, car-starter install)
Solution : Reset the SRS funtion:
1- look underneath dash, near fusebox, for a 2-wire yellow plug, disconnect it and pull it down so you can work with it
2- turn ignition OFF
3- jumper the 2 wires together (cut paperclip in half and straighten, insert one end of each half into back end of plug where each wire goes in, touch them together and hold) to clear SRS function
4- turn ignition ON (SRS light will turn on for 6 seconds, then turn off)
5- after SRS light turns off, within 4 seconds, unjumper the 2 wires (SRS light will turn ON)
6- after SRS light turns on, within 4 seconds, jumper the 2 wires (SRS light will turn OFF)
7- after SRS light turns off, within 4 seconds, unjumper the 2 wires (SRS light will blink ON and OFF, indicating SRS function is reset)

Yeah, I've been driving around with my SRS light on for 6 mos because I kept thinking that I was going to just disconnect them again to remove my amps. That damn DIY was so easy, it took only 5 minutes to cut a paper clip and take care of it. To think I actually put a picture over it for all this time.................
I need TP for my bunghole
