help with aem cai install
im in the process of installing a cai on a LX, and im trying to take off the baffle housing right now. it seems like the positive battery cable is stuck on, or connected to the intake tube. how do you take this off?
Edit: another problem, it seems like the clutch line's in the way of mounting the filter.. anyone else have thiss problem? help!!

thanks for the quick reply, its not the bolt, its some black clip that seems to be connecting the battery wire on the positive side to the intake tube

another question.. im putting the tempterature sensor back into the intake pipe.. and it doesnt seen like the cord's long enough... did i do something wrong? like not pushing the pipe down all the way? it seens like the pipe's all the way down though... here's a pic of it.. for the most part, its in, but not all the way in. is it okay if i leave it like this? or what should i do?

just cut away a little bit at the electrical tape and pull it to extend enough so that it's not super tight to the point where a bump in the road could cause it to fall out of the plug socket. u wanna give it some slack.

thanxs for the input reflekt. it seems like the wire wasnt as tight as i thought. it fits perfectly, kinda. what does that temperature sensor do? is the thing that reads "H" or "C" on the gauges?

ARGG!!!! finally got it in. damn it was a FU**ING B**CH putting that filter in!! good lord!! took me about 2 hours alone! so the grand total time for installing my cai is... 5 hours... damn man...
also, the clutch lineis touching the filter's rubber connector area. is this safe? or did i do something wrong? it shouldnt matter, right?

hm. i just took a look under my hood and i just noticed the same thing too. the "clutch line", whatever that is, is millimeters away from touching the CAI tubing. anyway. congrats to u for finishing the install. daaaamn. took me 1.5 hrs to install mine. and that included the 20 min waiting to reset the ECU. lol. but at leaest your done now right?!
