all i know is that you can get a different ECU, or reprogram it yourself i guess... but how much higher do you want it to go? ive had it in 5th at like 6, maybe it was seven, where is the top again???? 7700? eh i cant remember right now, but thats damn fast for our little civics

and nitrous. If you bump the factory rev limiter it shuts off the fuel
and causes the motor to lean out. I don't want to shift at a higher rpm

Rep Power: 0 in my friends ford it knocks you back like 10+mph when you hit about 109, but ours does not do that
when i hit it it just stays there or just goes up real real slowly, i guess i still dont get why you want to change it

no way your LX 5-speed hit 130. ask anyone on the site and they will tell you that an LX is limited to around 118 @5500 RPM.

beleive me .. my two friends... one has a 2002 grand am 4cyl. 5spd and the other a 95 240sx... my friends grand am stops at 118 and we always joke about it cause MY CIVIC leaves him behind. now ur tellin me that im imaging my car going to 134?
btw.. i have a 2001 LX 5spd Sedan.

its hard to get the camera up and ready going that fast at night i have had it at 130-135, im not exactly sure cause i get nervous about cops and other traffic and stuff moving at that speed - i dont really take my eyes off the road
