AUGh I bent my floorboard! Help!

A monkey-assed friend of mine was jacking up my car as we were mounting my side skirts, and the floorboard bent. Right along the line where the side floor panels run (the one connected to the gas door/trunk latch) the floor is bent upwards a bit. What should I do? The only advice I've heard is put a piece of wood down over it and start pounding with a sledge. I suppose thats all I have the capability to do? Any help is appreciated

That happened to me with another car. A 2x4 and a small sledge will flatten it right back out.

I did the exact same thing only I'm such a dumb-@$$ that when I saw the car coming down on the jack, I thought that my jack was lowering on it's own, so I jacked it up higher, THEN I realized that it was my car the was lowering.
Anyway, I got the same advice as you from everyone I asked - put a 2 X 4 down over it and aim carefully with a sledge hammer.
